The month of May was indeed a month of rejoice. I finally bid adieu to my first cell phone ever entrusted upon me; my Sony Ericsson K508i, which I gladly used for the past two years.

K508i: my first cell phone
His successor is the latest K660i model.
This is how it looks like, elegant isn’t it?
The new K660i
This phone actually costs around RM840 in the market, but I managed to get it for free of charge. In actual fact, it was a prize awarded by Sony Ericsson for my participation in its latest online contest called ‘the Sony Ericsson K660i Icon Hunt Contest’. I won it on grounds of being the participant that sent the most number of email invitations for the contest. Thus, I wish to thank all my friends who opened the invitation email.
Spending nearly 3 hours a day for 5 days, I kept sending emails to nearly all the available email addresses that I can get my hands on; my windows live messenger contacts, email contacts, college contacts, and even email addresses found on forwarded email messages. It was all worth the effort.
A day later, I received yet another good news. After a month waiting, my matriculation results were finally released. I still maintained a CGPA of 4.0, achieving A for Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and English paper. After averaging up with my previous CGPA from semester one, my overall CGPA still remained at 4.0.
Then, the arduous process of finalizing my online university application form began. None of my 8 choices will be published here, not till the actual intake results are released on the 3rd week of June. Hopefully, I can get to pursue my preferred course in my preferred university.
Later that week, my long battle with corn also comes to an end. My pharmacists had it removed ‘surgically’ with the use of a forceps. The pain was horrific, but still endurable.
Here are some of the photos I have taken:
